The platform runs parallel — capturing, processing, and submitting at every step. Two licensed pharmacist checkpoints are built in as hard stops. No GAMOT medicine leaves TrueMed without two sign-offs.
PhilHealth's portal operates on its own schedule and access windows. TrueMed's technology does not wait for the portal to function — it captures, processes, and prepares everything in parallel, then submits when access is available. A clinic's medicine supply is never delayed by a portal outage.

The mechanics
- Every YAKAP member carries a ₱20,000 annual medicine benefit under GAMOT.
- When a YAKAP clinic prescribes and TrueMed dispenses, PhilHealth reimburses the accredited provider directly.
- TrueMed sits in the reimbursement chain as both an accredited GAMOT facility and the clinic's fulfillment partner.
- The payer is the Philippine government — not the individual patient.
Why the model holds
Demand is mandated by law and funded by PhilHealth — it is not discretionary. Every active YAKAP member is a guaranteed source of prescription volume. TrueMed's role is to ensure every eligible prescription results in a dispensed medicine and a submitted claim.
